Camp Kinderland is a great summer camp for inner city kids, founded in 1923 promoting peace, equality, social justice, and community. Liz and Matt found this expansive large outdoor camp as the perfect place for their rustic wedding! Camp Kinderland has many rustic cabins, large wooden dining halls, and a beautiful lake. More photos to come on their weddding!
But here I want to show you some detail photos of some finishing personal touches! Everything about their wedding was so pure, and natural. The flowers in Liz's hair, and the bouquet, were fresh from Danielle of Wild Rose Farm, a local small flower farm.
One way to remember a special loved one who has passed, is to have a photo locket or charm attached to your bouquet. Here, is a photo brooch of Liz's mom who had passed, a reminder of her presence!
Sister's reaction when she discovered Liz's incorporation of mom into her bouquet! #priceless
Here's a quick pic of how Matt was stylin' on his wedding day! This groom and his best man and both dads wore matching wooden watches. Matt also got these awesome cufflinks made from Peruvian coins. (Matt & Liz are travelers, and so it was so neat to see how they incorporated travel into their wedding!) The wood watches are from Earth Watches USA.
The girls wore matching bracelets, with engraved names, handmade by the bride's friend, Jillian, who has an Etsy shop and website, Blooms and Shrooms. Jillian makes "earth-conscious metalwork and gemstone jewelry." You can visit her website here: http://www.bloomsandshrooms.com/gallery/
